about

The second album from the 40-40.

Recording with Last Measure is the easiest thing I have ever done musically. The ideas and concepts come organically and each project has its own feel. While the first album, Darkside of Humanity was a collection of various producers from around the world, this album feels more cohesive because of Supreme Da Almighty, one of upstate New York's finest producers.

We started building with Supreme through our good brother DJ Enyoutee of the World Famous No Ideas Original Radio Show at Vassar College. Supreme was working on a compilation album so me and Last each recorded a solo song for it ("What's That? (Unapologetic)" and "We Reign Supreme". Fast forward several months, and that project was shaping up to Supreme's liking so he brought up the idea of doing an EP together. SIx songs later and the songs were so good, Supreme wanted to do an album! And thus The Supremacy Doctrine was born!

This album sounds like it came out in the early 90s...it really has that golden ear sound that we grew up idolizing. We spit, tell stories and bring up ideas of life and death all within 13 songs.

If you feeling it, all I ask is that you spread the word....

And those two solo songs have culminated into a video dropping soon.... so stay tuned.

And 40-40 continues....40-40 vs. Kesti dropping early 2019....and then 40-40 vs. Xplicit…..
